Beyer Home Museum Music Room Redecorated
Because of a generous anonymous donor, the much needed redecoration of the Beyer Home Museum Music Room has been accomplished. The Acquisitions and Accessioning Committee of the Oconto County Historical Society Board of Directors researched and chose authentic period reproduction wall paper and carpet to redecorate the Beyer Home Museum Music Room. The donation included purchasing the reproduction wallpaper, the labor involved in stripping the Music Room walls of three layers of wallpaper, repairing and prepping the walls to be papered and the period carpet.
The OCHS Board of Directors, on behalf of the OCHS Membership, extends its gratitude and thanks to this anonymous donor for its generosity.
Visit the Beyer Home Museum Complex this summer. It is open daily June 1 through Labor Day with guided tours from 12 - 4. The fee to tour this jewel is only $4 for adults and $2 for children under 12. Group tours may be arranged by calling the museum at 920-834-6206. Visit our website at www.ocontoctyhistsoc.org.
