The Oconto County Historical Society’s 7th Art Show begins Saturday, July 31. Artists from Oconto County, past and present, contribute work to be displayed throughout the historic Beyer Home Museum and George E. Hall Annex. A variety of artistic mediums will be displayed. The Art Show runs through Sunday, August 15. It is open daily from 12 - 4 with guided tours. The fee touring is $4 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under.
This year, three persons who are contributing items for exhibit are demonstrating. These demonstrations will take place in the George E. Hall Annex on the Beyer Home Museum property.
- Beth Cody who owns and operates Decorating Options Ltd., Studio will demonstrate how to oil paint flowers Thursday August 5, at 1:00, p. m.
- Genevieve Gogat will demonstrate crochet and have crocheted items on display Sunday, August 8, at 1:00, p. m.
- Mike Werner, recently retired OHS Art Teacher will demonstrate using a potter’s wheel Friday, August 13 at 1:00, p. m.
